Today was a pretty big day for me regarding the academic quarter at OSU. Today was the day that I took my second biochem exam and either progressed upwards in the class towards a passing grade or maintained my below-expected grade which will not keep me my fellowship.
It's so wonderful to have the support that I receive in my marriage. Sure, we nit-pick each other sometimes, and that can wear a person down over time, but it's really important to realize that even the picking is a form of encouragement from the other half to improve your "act" and become a better person. But what I'm talking about today is true positiveencouragement. Without the encouragement that I received this week in the form of quizzing (and willingness to quiz), removal of distractions and positive words of hope, I couldn't have made it through this exam. I'm not saying the exam went well. I'll be praying it did, but I lack the confidence and I really doubt it went well. But it would've gone worse without Amanda's help.
